Family Allergy and Asthma Specialists
John Mastrovich, M.D.

Office Visits:
Office visits are made by appointment and often can be set up on the same day if we are notified early. Walk-in patients may be seen if there is an opening in the schedule. Patients with established appointments will have preference over patients worked-in to the existing schedule.

Referrals:
If your insurance plan requires that you have a referral from your primary care physician, (most HMO plans), you may not be evaluated if the referral has not been forwarded to us in advance.

Emergencies:
If you are experiecing life-threatening symptoms, you should call "911" and be evaluated in a hospital (not in the office) as soon as possible.

After Hours:
Dr. Mastrovich is available after hours for urgent matters only. Medication  refills, routine  questions and   appointment changes should be addressed during normal business hours. On weekends- holidays, Dr. Mastrovich (or another Allergist covering for the practice) can be reached by calling the office.
Medication Refills:
We attempt to refill most medications with 24 hours of your request. Certain medications, however, may not be routinely refilled (antibiotics, steroids, etc.). Patients who have not been seen by the physician at least once in the past 12 months (or have not been compliant with follow up evaluations) may have their refill request denied. Patients must check with their insurance regarding coverage, cost and availabliltity of their medications.
